Being a Momma!

Well its been three weeks and life is good!
Being a mom is hard... but I absolutely love it!
The first few days I thought, "Man I have this down, it just isn't as hard as I thought it would be." And then sleep deprivation caught up all way too fast and then the emotions...those annoying emotions. I would cry for absolutely no reason at all... (Why didn't anyone mention this?) I mean I don't mind crying if I just knew why I was doing it and its not like just shedding a few tears I'm talking full on bawling uncontrollably and it would just start up without warning. This is what I disliked most. Thank goodness I have a sweet husband who will hold me until I'm done and family who told me it's normal to cry. I seriously thought something was wrong with me and just knowing that it was common and normal made me feel so much better.
Most days I don't get dressed, I don't usually get around to brushing my teeth till 11:00 or after, some days I stink, Im covered it spit up, milk and sometimes probably a little poo... for all I know, taking a shower is like a mini vacation, breakfast...whats breakfast? In fact most days its more like food...whats food lol!
But despite all the things you sacrifice it doesn't even compare to the happiness and joy of having this sweet little baby boy in our lives! I love him so much more than I could have ever imagined!
Having a baby is certainly an adjustment (Thanks to Audrey and her little book about getting baby on a schedule, things are already looking better. Thank you Thank you!) but I am learning how to get things done with a baby! (Its only taken a month.)

Jase has had a lot of visitors since his arrival! I have sooo many pictures but here are a few for your viewing pleasure!

I don't know what I would have done if my sweet mom didn't come help us! We sure loved having her here and we sure miss her!

Grandma Sue and Grandpa Dan! They bought us a sweet rocking recliner! Jase and I enjoy it on a regular basis! :) Thank You!
