It was June 13th....

I wrote this post forever ago but I am now just getting brave enough to actually post it. I think I have been in denial that I'm actually pregnant because 1st, I pretty much feel the same and 2nd I pretty much look the same. Sometimes I still wonder if there really is a baby in there but the tests don't lie....at least we hope they don't!   

So, it all started June 13th...at 6am. I HAD to pee... but I was holding it! You see I had planned on taking a pregnancy test today but I had taken several before with negative results so I was debating about even taking it and maybe just waiting for another week to pass, although one had already passed....then I just decided "what the heck? I guess Ill just take it." Plus I couldn't hold it anymore (and...they say to use morning pee, in case you didn't already know that.) So I did my business and waited my 2 mins or however long it was and at first glance I thought it was negative...but at second and third glance and after reading the instructions again and again I realized it was positive! I took a bunch of pictures just in case it decided to change on me or something so I would have proof to show Dallen! Lol. I was so excited...then I freaked out a little...like...I'm pregnant...Ive never been pregnant before...this is kinda scary! Ok...breathe, breathe! Its ok, you want to be pregnant...excitement returns! 

My husband is not a morning person, not even kinda, so I decide I will wait till 9am to wake him up and tell him the good news. I crawl back in bed and 10 seconds later I wake up Dallen and tell him I am pregnant!!! (9:00 was just too far away!) He takes me in his arms and gives me a good squeeze and says,"Congratulations"...which I thought was kinda funny...congratulations yourself! Then we are just laying there and I say, "Oh yeah...and you're the father!" ha ha. Then I pull out my phone and show Dallen the pictures, like...look at these pictures and make sure I'm reading this thing right... as if he would know ha ha. 

And well...that's how Dallen and I found out :) Stayed tuned for another post about how I told the rest of our family!
