Yep! We're Engaged! Woot Woot!

The Story!

SHE SAID:

So Dallen asked me a few days ago if I wanted to go fishing on wednesday because he "just really felt like going fishing." So today I text him and asked him what time he wanted to go and he said "At 3 or whenever you get off work." Well I get off work at 3! As soon as I got home he text me and told me he was on his way to my house…ok cool! 

So he drives me up to Warner Lake and there are lots of people there, well as we walk down to the lake  everyone is leaving, I thought well thats convenient! Then Dallen chooses this spot thats got a whole bunch of weeds in front of it and I'm thinking "why did he choose this spot?" Well there was a sign stuck in the ground that said "Pull Me" (I have no idea whats going on.)  Dallen says, "well maybe you should pull it"…on top of the sign is a carabiniere so I pull it…I don't know, I thought maybe something cool would happen…nothing did but I didn't really care. Then Dallen hands me a string and says "I think this string was attatched to it, here pull it." Me "OK"…so as I'm pulling it I see just a little red and I thought It was just an old pop-can so I was just gonna leave it and then I changed my mind and kept pulling till I realized it was a pretty sweet looking bottle. So I pull it out of the water and inside the bottle are some flowers with a note. (I still have no idea) So I kinda hold it out to Dallen like "look at this, what should we do with it" and Dallen says "Looks like a message in a bottle, I think you should read it." THEN I GOT IT!!! I said, "You did this!" He told me to open it but I couldn't get the cork out so I handed it to Dallen and he tried for like 5 min to get it out…I told him to try and break the glass, well that didn't work so he ended up pushing the cork inside the bottle…then it took him a little longer to get the note out. Once it was out he handed it to me and told me to read it out loud, so I did. Then he got down on one knee and asked if I would Marry him! I SAID YES!!! We don't have a ring yet so Dallen made me this sweet spoon ring! I love it! 

Then as we were leaving all these people re-appear. Apparently Dallen had asked them all beforehand to leave when he got there so there were probably a whole bunch of people in the bushes watching Dallen struggle ha ha! It was really cute and I love him!

THE REAL WAY IT HAPPENED:

As soon as she got home I texted her and told her I was on my way to her house…ok good, the longer we waited the more likely it was that someone would kife my stuff.

Then I chose this spot that's got one tiny little weed in front of it and I'm thinking "Wow she hasn't realized what I'm doing already?" Well there was a sign stuck in the ground that said "Pull Me" (She had no idea whats going on.)  I said (still wondering how she doesn't know whats going on), "well maybe you should pull it"…on top of the sign is a carabiniere so she pulls it…I don't know what she thought was going to happen. Then I casually bend down and pick up the fishing line that had been attached to the string and hand it to her and say "I think this string was attatched to it, here pull it." Her "OK"…so as she's taking forever to pull it in i'm still thinking, "How does she not know what is going on?". So she finally pulls it out and inside the bottle are some flowers with a note. (she still has no idea) So she kinda holds it out to me like "look at this, what should we do with it" and I think, "well what do you normally do when you find a message in a bottle, but say "Looks like a message in a bottle, I think you should read it." THEN SHE GETS IT!!! she said, "You did this!" I told her to open it but she couldn't get the cork out so she handed it to me and I smoothly and efficiently pulled it out. Once it was out I handed it to her and told her to read it out loud, so she did. Then I got down on one knee and asked if she would Marry me! SHE SAID YES!!! Tears came to her eyes and she leapt into my arms! We don't have a ring yet so I made her this pretty dang cool ring! She loves it! 

Then as we were leaving all those people re-appeared. It was really smooth and I love her!
