Dalton Update

Well for anyone who checks my blog, I'm sorry I haven't updated it in quite some time. To be honest we just don't do much. I work, cook and clean. Dallen works, goes to school and plays soccer. And on occasion we go to the track. We don't do many note worthy or in this case blog worthy things. 

Ill try to have something a little more exciting for my next post but for now here's a little update about us.  

• We still love each other, in fact we even still like each other!

• Ive discovered Dallen talks in his sleep and quite often at that. I only wish by the time morning came I could remember everything he said! One night he was tossing the covers back and forth and saying "Back and forth, back and forth"...I thought he was mad because I kept turning over and over but when he kept doing it I grabbed his hands to stop him and asked him what he was doing...no answer. Then I asked him if he was awake, three times I asked him and every time he said, "yes!" The next morning he didn't remember anything and denies the whole story but I'm telling you, its true!

• I've also found that I cant sleep unless Dallen is also in bed, which is a problem because the boy likes to read till the wee hours of the night/morning.

• My favorite part of the day is when Dallen finally comes home!

• If we ever make bets (and we do) Dallens reward for himself is always a 5min back scratch from me! 

• We are moving back to Moab for the summer and although we will save a lot of money we are going to miss our little nieces and nephews a lot! We went home a couple weeks ago and went to church and we both decided church just wasn't the same and not near as much fun without them! Consequently Carson and Linsdays house is our favorite place to hang out.

• When I try a new recipe I always make Dallen try it first and even when its gross he will still eat it...except for this one dish we decided was better off in the garbage! 

• I've learned to touch raw meat although I still thinks its gross so if Dallen is around I will always ask him...and he's usually a dear and does it for me :)
