Oh this bear....this bear is my Aunt Becky's...and to be honest i have no idea why or where she got it. Its been in my Grandma's upstairs since i can remember and when we were little we use to LOVE this bear and we would "ride" it down her stairs. Which when i think of it now I'm not sure how the bear even "slid" down those stairs, they are quite narrow and this bear is huge!
Anyway...my grandma has been wanting to get rid of it! Well Becky came down a few weeks ago and a few weeks before that my Aunt Suzie came down and came up with this idea that we should just strap it to Beckys car in the middle of the night. But first we were going to take funny pictures with it...stage a picnic, run him over...things like that.
So Jessica went and got the bear before Becky came and kept him at our house. Well we didn't actually know when Becky was leaving and she left before we got the chance to ditch the darn bear....and so he sat in our yard...sunbathing...until my Aunt Celeste (lots of Aunts in this story :)) said she wanted to borrow it to pick Becca up and embarrass her. Jessica and I moved the bear in to Celestes car...it was a struggle trying to get him in there and we couldn't stop laughing. We decided that we would drive him around town and see what kind of reactions we would get. To be honest i think we were a little disappointed. I even sat in the back and moved his arm up and down so it looked like he was waving at people. Some people just don't know funny when they see it. We did get a few people to laugh, and a few had to do a double take but most people either didn't notice the over-sized, hand waving green care bear or they pretended like they didn't!
At least we entertained ourselves! We had fun and this bear now resides at a thrift store or maybe it has already found its way into some care bare loving home ;)
