Why is it so freaking hard....

...to sew? Every now and then I feel like i need to sew something...so today i decided i would make an apron, this should be simple enough right? WRONG! Everything goes fine, you know the tracing and cutting the pattern out but once i actually have to sew...everything goes wrong! Why cant my sewing machine just do what i want it to? I think i spend more time unpicking and re-sewing more than anything. My first mistake was that i tried to make the ruffle out of the ties...my mom noticed that one when i said "This is going to be a really small ruffle."...I then cut new ties.  My second mistake was making the actual ruffle and trying to sew the ruffle to the apron...this was when i got really mad at the stupid sewing machine because... i dont know its stupid and wont do what i want... it was a mess and needless to say...i had to unpick the whole thing and then... my mom re-did it for me! Thank goodness she is here to help me out. Anyway once i got over that i finished the few things i could because mistake 3 was i dont have the things i need to finish it...which i'll get tomorrow and update you then! This was my day.

Well ive finally finished not 1 but 2 aprons! It was frustrating at times but pretty fun and I felt accomplished when i was all done! I actually learned a lot too like what "bias" means... sewing "lingo" is kinda hard to understand at least for me it is but anyway I gave the flower one to my little sister who just got braces today...in case you wanted to know and the other one im giving to my gramma Lynda for her birthday next week! Sewing can be fun.
